Job summary

Baptist Health in Louisville is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear cardiology diagnostic studies. You will work in a team, ensure patient safety, and operate gamma cameras and related systems to provide high-quality cardiac imaging.

The role requires CNMT and NMTCB/ARRT credentials within 90 days of hire, an Associates degree, and BLS within 90 days. Sign-on bonus eligible for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• CNMT certification required.
• NMTCB and/or ARRT certification within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate gamma cameras and computing systems to acquire nuclear cardiology images.
• Ensure safe handling, storage and disposal of radioactive materials.
• Monitor patients during stress testing and manage radiopharmaceutical injections.
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history to ensure proper preparation.
• Deliver findings to physicians for interpretation and ensure patient comfort and safety.
