Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine studies. You will administer radiopharmaceuticals, schedule in-patient/out-patient studies, and adhere to state and federal regulations governing Nuclear Medicine.

The role requires ARRT/JRCNMT/CAMRT credentials (or registry eligibility) and successful registry within 12 months. NJ license may be required for NJ-based employees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT, JRCNMT, or CAMRT recognized program, or registry eligible.
• Must pass registry within 1 year of hire date.
• For PET/CT, NMTCB PET/CT registry within 1 year is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following established protocols and regulations.
• Educate patients about Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Conduct Quality Control on equipment per ACR standards.
• Venipuncture with radiopharmaceuticals and injections with standard precautions.
• Schedule patients and order radionuclides.
• Assist in cleanup of incidents involving radioactive materials and spills.
• Maintain Hot Lab and waste disposal areas per NRC and PA regulations.
• Demonstrate competency with RIS/HIS/PHS modules relevant to job duties.
• Receive radionuclides.
