St. Luke's University Health Network in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine studies, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and schedule IP/OP studies according to dept procedures.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with NRC and state regulations, educating patients, performing QC, venipuncture and injections, and maintaining the hot lab and waste areas.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ARRT, JRCNMT, or CAMRT recognized education program or certified by ARRT/NMTCB; registry within 1 year.
  • If PET/CT, advanced NMTCB PET/CT registry recommended within 1 year and maintained thereafter.
  • NJ license required for NJ-based employees.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with protocols and regulations.
  • Educate patients regarding Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Perform Quality Control on equipment per ACR standards.
  • Demonstrate venipuncture and injections using radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Schedule patients and order radionuclides.
  • Assist in accidents or spills involving radioactive materials.
  • Maintain hot lab and waste areas per NRC and state regulations.
  • Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS/PHS modules relevant to duties.
  • Receive radionuclides.
