Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Molecular Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Staff Technologist to manage radiopharmaceuticals, dose calibration, administration, and disposal, while ensuring patient care and safe imaging procedures.

Requires CNMT/ARRT certifications, a BS or AAS in nuclear medicine, MA licensure, BLS, and experience with NMIS/RIS/HIS systems. Relocation assistance and a $15k sign-on are offered. This is a full-time, day-shift position with a competitive total compensation package.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program or an Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology with 2 years of experience by date of hire.
Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT NM) and at least one advanced certification: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(MR).
Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR.

Responsibilities

Procure, prepare, perform quality control, dispense, dose calibrate, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and adjunct non-radiopharmaceuticals.
Administer pharmaceuticals including contrast under direction of an authorized user.
Operate imaging, laboratory and computer instrumentation and maintain safety and quality control procedures.
