Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Training and experience in radiation safety and protection.
• Licenses required at hire: NJDEP Nuclear Medicine Tech, ARRT or NMTCB, NJDEP Limited CT Fusion License within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine scanning procedures per manual.
• Operates Nuclear Medicine scanners and ancillary equipment.
• Maintains records of radioactive materials and equipment quality control.
• Prepares radioactive doses for daily patient administration.
• Assists physicians and assists with image processing and enhancement.
• Rotates to all shifts and participates in on-call rotation.
• Ensures patient safety and radiation protection throughout procedures.
