Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Supervisor, Nuclear Medicine to provide professional leadership and day-to-day supervision of nuclear medicine operations and clinical activities within the facility.

You will oversee scheduling, workflow, image quality, radiopharmaceutical handling, radiation safety, and equipment performance, collaborating with radiologists and leadership to support quality improvement and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and schedules.
• Valid CNMT, ARRT(N), or NMTCB license.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a nuclear medicine or radiology technologist.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership and day-to-day supervision of nuclear medicine operations.
• Oversee scheduling, workflow management, image quality, and equipment performance.
• Ensure radiopharmaceutical handling and inventory compliance.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and leadership to support quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
• Exercise independent judgment in managing day-to-day operations and executing departmental objectives.
