Job summary

Mid Michigan Diagnostics is seeking a part-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift. You will perform cardiology imaging procedures and produce high-quality images for physician interpretation.

Requirements include at least 1 year of nuclear medicine experience, NMTCB or ARRT credential, and BLS certification. Digirad Cardius 2XPO experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year nuclear medicine experience.
• NMTCB or ARRT credentialed technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Digirad Cardius 2XPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and address patient anxieties during testing.
• Position patients and select anatomical and technical factors accurately.
• Handle radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols.
• Prepare and mix precise doses of radioactive tracers.
• Operate radiation-detecting cameras and process images for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.

Mid Michigan Diagnostics is seeking a quality Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part time, day shift position. You will be performing cardiology imaging procedures and providing quality images to the cardiologist for interpretation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Explaining procedures, addressing patient anxieties, and monitoring the physical well being during testing.
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately
• Ordering, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
• Calculating and mixing precise doses of radioactive tracers for patients
• Operating radiation-detecting cameras, processing digital images and providing data to cardiologists for interpretation.
• Strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, staff and the environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of one year of Nuclear Medicine Experience
• Nuclear Medicine Credentialed NMTCB or ARRT Boards
• BLS Certified
• Experience with Digirad Cardius 2XPO preferred
