Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with design of mechanical systems.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
• US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements.
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and in teams.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, error-free drawings, calculations, and analyses meeting codes and client needs.
• Develop documents in line with client, ENERCON, and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry codes, safety principles, and nuclear design techniques.
• Produce engineering deliverables meeting QA standards and project scopes.
• Build client relationships through clear communication and solutions.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure integrated designs.
• Travel to plant sites for on-site walkdowns and assessments.
