Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. This full-time role supports projects ranging from major power plant modifications to field walkdowns, with travel to client sites in the U.S.

The team collaborates across disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will create engineering drawings, perform calculations, and produce reports while adhering to industry codes and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years designing mechanical systems in power, nuclear, or DOE-related projects preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate drawings, sketches, calculations, and analyses meeting codes and client needs.
• Develop engineering documents in line with procedures and client/regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with industry codes, safety culture, and advanced design techniques for nuclear projects.
• Produce deliverables meeting QA standards and project scope.
• Build trust with clients through clear communication and professional interactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Travel to plant sites for on-site walkdowns and assessments.
