Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Nuclear Materials Specialist II to support inventory management and material handling at a company facility in North Carolina. The role includes picking, issuing, cycle counting, and interacting with Supply Chain customers while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Qualified candidates have a High School/GED, at least 1 year of related experience, and a valid driver's license with forklift/training.

Qualifications

• High School/GED degree.
• 1-year related work experience.
• Maintain valid driver's license, fork truck certification and all assigned training (safety, environmental, ethics, etc.).

Responsibilities

• NMS-I duties plus the following
• Picking / issuing / cycle counting inventory via supply chain system transactions
• Interacting with Supply Chain customers as needed (issue counter, planning meetings, represent Supply Chain on assigned teams, etc.)
• Receiving Inspection activities for inventory related items.
