Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Materials Specialist to support warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling across our facilities. You will ensure accurate inventories, coordinate with plant teams, and handle receiving, transfers, and maintenance materials.

The role requires learning MAXIMO/EMAX and maintaining strong communications with procurement and site operations to keep materials flowing efficiently. On-site work at our Power Generation facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Strong communication and customer-service oriented approach.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Willingness to learn MAXIMO and EMAX systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day activities in warehouse operations, including inventory control and receiving.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through physical and chemical inventories.
• Coordinate with plant management and staff to prioritize, schedule and implement tasks.
• Learn and apply MAXIMO and EMAX to support supply chain processes.
