Job summary

Cardinal Health's Nuclear Manufacturing unit oversees the production of PET radiopharmaceuticals in a regulated environment, managing budgets, and ensuring cGMP/NRC compliance. The role involves leading a small team, presenting to diverse audiences, and driving continuous process improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Typical shifts run 2:00 am–11:00 am, with potential 4-hour variations; the job requires strong communication, leadership, and adherence to regulatory

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
  • A minimum of 2+ years related work experience in an regulated environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Management/Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Understand how to review and manage P&L.
  • Lifting: Frequent lifting between 50-75 lbs.
  • Ability to see fine particulate and differentiate colors in liquid solutions.
  • Ability to hear, write (English), and speak (English) clearly in order to communicate in manufacturing setting.
  • Manual dexterity required for equipment operation and occasional reach and lifting of small objects.
  • Must be able to work NIGHTS.
  • Typical hours will be 2:00 am – 11:00 am but can vary 4 hours either way

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise small team of personnel in the manufacturing of PET radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Review and manage site budget and P&L.
  • Responsible to oversee cGMP and NRC regulatory compliance programs at the site level.
  • Conduct effective presentations to various sized target audiences, including internal and external groups.
  • Mentors and empowers others to achieve success.
  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff.
  • Administers and executes policies and procedures.
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines.
  • Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers.
  • Anticipated salary range: $82,100.00 - $117,200.00 Bonus eligible: Yes
