You will support licensing actions, regulatory submissions, and engagement with the NRC for a nuclear fuel cycle facility. You'll collaborate with senior engineers on licensing documents, risk analyses, and safety cases, gaining experience in 10 CFR compliance and environmental reporting while contributing to high-reliability, regulated nuclear

Responsibilities

• Support licensing documents and licensing applications per NRC requirements.
• Assist communication with NRC and track inquiries.
• Support strategies to obtain and maintain licenses for nuclear facilities and projects.
• Perform technical evaluations under senior engineers to ensure compliance with codes and regs (e.g., 10 CFR).
• Monitor changes to nuclear regulations and assess impact on operations and licensing.
• Support safety analyses, environmental reports, and risk assessments for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare documentation and technical writing for licensing submissions and regulatory correspondence.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, legal, and environmental teams on licensing requirements.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and regulatory meetings with senior team members.
• Communicate technical ideas effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
