Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Strong knowledge of NRC, DOE, and IAEA safeguards requirements and regulations.
• Proficiency with MC&A software and database management systems.
• Ability to work in a regulated, high-security environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain MC&A programs to ensure compliance with NRC, DOE, and international safeguards regulations.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on nuclear material balances, inventories, and movements to ensure accountability and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze discrepancies in nuclear material accounting and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation related to nuclear material control and safeguards.
• Perform nuclear material risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, identifying and mitigating threats to material security.
• Collaborate with operations, security, and regulatory teams to support safe handling of nuclear materials.
