Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company seeks a senior project leader to oversee Davis-Besse License Renewal Projects, managing scope, timelines, and contractors responsible for renewing licenses. The role requires coordinating with regulatory bodies, field inspections, and implementation of aging management programs.

You will ensure alignment with NRC requirements, lead cross‑functional teams, and drive process improvements across Vistra Fleet while maintaining safety and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of nuclear experience with a related degree, or 10 years with a high school diploma.
• Experience with nuclear regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating across departments, budgeting, and project execution.
• Knowledge of license renewal processes and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• License Renewal leadership and oversight.
• Lead and manage site resources and contractors.
• Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets for license renewal projects.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Stay current with regulations and industry guidance.
• Identify process optimization opportunities.
• Interact with regulatory staff during inspections/audits.
• Lead self-assessments of activities and deliverables.
• Support aging management program implementation.
• Participate in Industry Teams and meetings.
• Assist license renewal projects across the Vistra Fleet.
