Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations in Ohio is seeking a Manager to oversee Davis-Besse License Renewal Projects. You will lead the project scope, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for license renewal and related activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, supervising field inspections, preparing documentation for NRC submissions, and guiding aging management program implementation. Strong leadership and project management skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years nuclear experience with engineering degree or 10+ years with HS diploma.
• Experience with nuclear regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating across departments, budgeting and project management preferred.
• Experience in nuclear license renewal application and/or implementation preferred.
• Knowledge of nuclear regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage license renewal site resources and contractors.
• Manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets for efficient execution of license renewal projects.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of relevant regulations governing nuclear license renewal.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
• Interact with regulatory staff during inspections and audits.
• Lead and perform self‑assessments of project activities.
• Participate in Industry Teams and Meetings.
• Assist in license renewal projects across the Vistra Fleet.
