Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio is seeking a seasoned Manager to oversee Davis-Besse License Renewal Projects. You will direct project scope, timelines, and contractor work, ensuring compliance with NRC requirements and coordinating with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Audits, inspections, and aging management program support are integral, with a focus on delivering safe and compliant license renewal outcomes.

Qualifications

At least 6 years of nuclear experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Experience with nuclear regulatory requirements is required.
Strong leadership, coordination across departments, and budget management are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage license renewal projects, sites, resources, and contractors.
Oversee project scopes, timelines, and budgets for license renewal execution.
Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations including NRC reviews and field inspections.
Stay current with regulations and industry guidance affecting nuclear license renewal.
Identify opportunities to optimize processes and efficiency in renewal activities.
Interact with regulatory staff during inspections and audits.
Support aging management program implementation and industry teams.
