Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 6 years' nuclear experience with a degree in engineering or related field, or 10+ years with a high school diploma.
• Experience with nuclear regulatory requirements is required.
• Experience in cross-department coordination, budget management and projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• License Renewal: lead and manage license renewal projects and related scopes.
• Lead and manage site resources and contractors involved in the license renewal process.
• Manage project scopes, timelines and budgets for efficient execution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies including NRC reviews and field inspections.
• Stay abreast of regulations and industry guidelines governing nuclear license renewal.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
• Interact with regulatory staff during inspections and audits.
• Provide guidance for aging management program implementation.
• Participate in industry teams and meetings.
• Assist in license renewal projects across the Vistra fleet.
