Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Nuclear engineering student for the Summer 2027 intern session to work in the Reactor Engineering group of the Nuclear Engineering Department at North Anna Power Station, Mineral, VA. Responsibilities include reactor flux data acquisition and analysis, ranking cycle thermal performance, and trending of reactor performance; tasks will be mentored by experienced engineers.

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Anticipated graduation December 2028 or later.
• Students must have a 3.0 minimum GPA.
• Working knowledge of engineering theories and principles.

Responsibilities

• Reactor flux data acquisition and analysis for periodic surveillances of power distribution.
• Ranking cycle thermal performance analysis.

Education Requirements

• Individuals must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program at a four-year college or university.
• Individuals must have an anticipated graduation December 2028 or later.
• Students must have a 3.0 minimum GPA

The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate's degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
