Job summary

ReNuke Services is seeking a Nuclear I&C Design Engineer SME for our client's site in York, SC. The ideal candidate has deep experience with digital control and data acquisition, distributed I&C platforms, Operator Aid Computer systems, plant networks, and security computer systems, plus familiarity with cyber security design requirements.

You will read and interpret Control Wiring Diagrams, One-line and Logic Diagrams, and contribute to Engineering Change Orders, Equipment Databases, and Bills

Qualifications

• Experience with digital control and data acquisition systems.
• Familiarity with distributed I&C platforms and Operator Aid Computer systems.
• Understanding of cyber security design requirements and plant networks.
• Ability to read Control Wiring Diagrams, One-line Diagrams, and Logic Diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and producing Engineering Change Orders and related docs.
• Maintaining Equipment Database records and Bills of Materials.
• Producing Electrical Elementary Diagrams, Connection Diagrams, Wiretabs, Cable Cards.
• Collaborating with project teams and working with minimal supervision.

Job Description

An experienced I&C Design Engineer with a strong background in any or all of the following: digital control and data acquisition systems, distributed I&C system platforms, Operator Aid Computer, plant network systems, and security computer systems. Understanding of industry cyber security design requirements. Familiarity with computer networks and operating systems. Knowledge of real-time/data acquisition/control systems, including hardware, software, and interfaces. Ability to read plant drawings, including Control Wiring Diagrams, One-line diagrams, and Logic Diagrams. Ability to work on assigned projects with minimal supervision. Ability to work as part of a team, be self-motivated, exercise flexibility, and take personal responsibility for assigned accountabilities. Responsibilities include reviewing/producing Engineering Change Basedocs, Equipment Database records, Electrical Elementary Diagrams, Connection Diagrams, Wiretabs, Bills of Materials, and Cable Cards.
