Job summary

Mirion Technologies, Inc. in Buffalo, NY, seeks a hands-on assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, perform functional testing, and help package products for shipping.

You will train with peers, coordinate with internal teams, and follow our quality and safety standards. A High School diploma is required; basic computer skills and the ability to read prints and measurement tools are expected.

Qualifications

  • Basic use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to read and understand prints.
  • Ability to read measurement tools (tape measure, scale, etc.).
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Verbal and listening skills required.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to understand the speech of another person.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical and electrical component assembly.
  • Mechanical and electrical functional testing.
  • Packing and crating products.
  • Training with peers & interface with multiple internal departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & CORE FUNCTIONS:
  • Mechanical and electrical component assembly.
  • Mechanical and electrical functional testing.
  • Packing and crating products.
  • Training with peers & interface with multiple internal departments.

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Regularly preform repetitive motions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually medium.
  • Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable.
