Westinghouse Electric Company, via WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a Fuel Handler / Reactor Services Technician to design, operate and maintain systems used for handling, storage, cooling and monitoring nuclear fuel and related support systems.

The role reports to the Reactor Services Supervisor and is onsite in Oconee, SC. Candidates should have 5+ years in reactor operation and maintenance, strong knowledge of reactor physics and thermodynamics, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in reactor operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of reactor physics, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for reactor safety.
• Certification in reactor operation or maintenance (or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on reactors to ensure performance and safety.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues with reactors.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and implement modifications to reactor systems.
• Develop and implement procedures for reactor operation and maintenance.
• Provide technical support and training to reactor operators and other personnel.
