Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking a qualified Technical Project Manager 2 (Construction) to support Los Alamos National Laboratory in Richland, WA. The role oversees construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple disciplines.

The position emphasizes DOE/NNSA requirements, NQA-1 standards, and effective cost/schedule management. Strong coordination with cross-functional teams is essential for successful turnover and project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience.
• Experience managing project/construction/procurement in regulated nuclear environments.
• Familiarity with DOE O 413.3B and NQA-1 requirements.
• Experience with complex procurement, fabrication, testing, turnover under NQA-1.
• Experience in DOE/NNSA nuclear facilities construction and D&D.

Responsibilities

• Manage discrete technical construction projects from initiation through turnover.
• Define, manage, and monitor scope, deliverables, budgets, schedules, risks, and technical requirements.
• Lead project teams in planning, tracking, and executing construction activities.
• Ensure activities comply with NQA-1, DOE, NNSA, safety, security, and quality requirements.
• Prepare project status reports and executive communications.
• Coordinate activities with engineering, operations, radiological control, safety, and other groups.
