Job summary

System One has an exciting long-term contract opportunity for a Computer Support Professional to work at Talen Energy's Susquehanna Nuclear Facility in Berwick, PA. This role will support the Systems Engineering Computer Group with hardware, software and cybersecurity obligations.

The position requires proficiency with Microsoft Office products and both basic and advanced networking tasks, including IP addressing and firewall/switch updates.

Qualifications

• Basic Software/Hardware troubleshooting (installations/upgrades/etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/experience with Access is a plus)
• Able to perform basic networking tasks such as setting IP addresses, etc.
• Able to perform advanced networking tasks such as updating firewalls/switches, a plus
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear facility required.

Responsibilities

• Basic Software/Hardware troubleshooting (installations/upgrades/etc.)
• Able to perform basic networking tasks such as setting IP addresses
• Able to perform advanced networking tasks such as updating firewalls/switches
• Will work around plant equipment and certain tasks are performed in the radiological control area (RCA)
• Detail oriented with the ability to work independently using work instructions/procedures
