Job summary

Talen Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station near Berwick, PA. You will perform electrical design engineering, develop robust solutions, and support projects to improve plant reliability.

The role requires collaboration with Operations, Maintenance and Station Leadership, leading multi-discipline teams on design changes, and providing outage support and rapid response to generation challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology from ABET-accredited program.
• Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Plant Access.
• Engineer in Training certificate (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering analysis and cost-effective design solutions.
• Interface with Operations, Maintenance and Station Leadership on plant issues.
• Lead multi-discipline teams on design changes and design package reviews.
• Support outages, emergent issues and generation challenges as needed.
