Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. in Delta, Colorado, is seeking an entry-level Equipment Operator to begin a path toward Reactor Operator licensure.

You will join the operations team and undergo one year of initial training, with shift work that includes rotating days and nights. The role centers on monitoring and controlling nuclear station equipment from the control room, performing start/stop sequences, and following NRC procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BS in engineering or related field preferred.
• 43 credits in math/physics/engineering may qualify.
• Experience in power plants or nuclear facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate nuclear station equipment from the control room.
• Start, stop, and adjust reactor and turbine systems as required.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies per procedures.
• Maintain logs, turnovers, and station procedures.
• Support fire brigade duties and safety initiatives.
