Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• BS in engineering, engineering technology, or related science preferred.
• 43 credit hours with advanced math, physics, chemistry, and/or engineering coursework accepted.
• 1 year Power Plant Experience or equivalent nuclear/industrial exposure accepted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control and operate nuclear station equipment from the control room.
• Start/stop reactor and turbine systems and maintain maximum station capability.
• Respond to plant indicators and alarms per procedures; participate in emergency planning.

Education

Bachelor of Science in engineering/related science

43 credit hours in math/physics/engineering
