Constellation Energy Corp. seeks an entry-level Equipment Operator for our nuclear facilities.

This hands-on role trains to become a Reactor Operator/Senior Reactor Operator through a one-year initial non-licensed program and then moves to an operations team with rotating day and night shifts. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, plus one of: BS in engineering, 43 math/physics/engineering credits, or one year of power plant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or GED.
• One of: BS in engineering/related field; 43 credits in advanced math/physics/engineering; or 1 year power plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate nuclear reactor and related systems per procedures.
• Start/stop and control turbine generators and auxiliary equipment.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and follow NRC procedures.
• Maintain logs, perform turnovers, and participate in fire brigade activities.
