Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Procurement Contracts Manager (EPC Projects) to lead complex procurement contracts for next‑generation nuclear infrastructure. You’ll coordinate with legal, engineering, project, and contract administration teams to ensure contracts are sound, compliant, and aligned with schedules.

Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years in procurement or commercial roles in capital-intensive industries, with EPC experience and knowledge of FAR/DFARS, NQA-1, ITAR, and related

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with relevant professional experience.
  • 7–10+ years in procurement contracts, commercial management, or supply chain in capital-intensive industries.
  • Experience supporting EPC projects and drafting/negotiating EPC contracts.
  • Proven record leading complex contract negotiations (fixed-price, time-and-materials, EPC).
  • Familiarity with U.S. federal acquisition regs, DOE funding agreements, or public-sector contracting.
  • Strong contract risk management, change orders, and claims resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of procurement contract strategies and templates for major equipment, materials, and services.
  • Own negotiation of terms, pricing, risk allocation, and change management.
  • Oversee contract formation, execution, and close-out with compliance.
  • Partner with Contract Administration to deliver smooth handoffs and support changes.
  • Interface between engineering, legal, finance, and project management to reflect requirements.
  • Embed QA, export controls, and counterfeit-prevention requirements into terms; coordinate with QA on NQA-1 supplier status.
  • Ensure activities meet legal/regulatory standards and improve procurement processes.
