Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. in Oak Ridge, Tennessee seeks an EH&S Manager – Enrichment Operations to lead comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs for CMDF, CMF, and future enrichment operations.

The role balances strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution, driving safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple facilities. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with the potential for DOE clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline related to EH&S.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible EH&S leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, and DOE/NNSA requirements.
• Experience leading environmental and occupational safety programs in regulated settings.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DOE clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes the site EH&S roadmap aligned with corporate goals.
• Champions safety culture through leadership engagement and hazard reporting.
• Advises operations on environmental compliance and risk management.
• Integrates EH&S into planning, commissioning, and changes.
• Leads investigations and root cause analyses of incidents.
• Maintains regulatory documentation and supports audits.
• Manages regulatory permits, reports, and environmental monitoring.
