ENERCON’s Nuclear Services Group seeks an Engineering Site Lead to steer engineering projects onsite at our client facility and from Tysons, VA. You’ll guide proposals, manage schedules, risk, and financial health while coordinating engineers, designers, and subcontractors.

This role emphasizes client satisfaction, strong communication, and cross‑disciplinary collaboration to deliver high‑quality outcomes and support business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or PMP Certification.
• Typically requires 6 years’ experience in power generation, energy, utility or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review.
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously.
• Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting.
• Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Strong coordination and team building skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility.
• Must be able to perform plant walkdowns.
• Candidates must meet all ENERCON Project Manager qualification requirements within the required timeframe.
• This position will be onsite at our clients facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects, collaborate with technical teams to create detailed proposals, and manage all aspects of project execution.
• Oversee project schedules, financials and reporting while supporting marketing endeavors to propel business growth.
• Drive client satisfaction through effective communication, high-quality deliverables, and strong relationship-building.
• Oversee the work of engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Travel to client facilities as needed.
