Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead the crafting of winning engineering proposals with our technical team. You will develop comprehensive project plans, enforce standards, and drive success from scheduling to client relations, seizing opportunities along the way.

You will oversee budgets, reporting, and risk management while coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams. Travel up to 15% and potential remote placements in the U.S. are possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years' experience in power generation, utility, energy or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or PMP Certification with 10 years' applicable experience.
• Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review.
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously.
• Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting.
• Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Strong coordination and team building skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision‑making, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts with technical staff to develop detailed and winning engineering proposals.
• Develop Nuclear Services Project Work Plans, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, and Dictionaries.
• Responsible for development, execution, and reporting of project schedules, including preparing recovery schedules and rebaselining schedules.
• Understand complex scheduling tools including earned value management and reporting processes.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, serving as the single point of contact for assigned projects.
• Manage client interactions, negotiating and controlling project scope to client and company satisfaction.
• Support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up.
• Formulate and develop detailed internal and Federal reporting requirements.
• Understand project financials and be able to regularly report on financial status and overall project performance to management.
