Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering proposals, craft detailed project plans, and drive schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

You will oversee quality and performance while pursuing new opportunities and managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. The role requires coordinating with technical staff to produce winning proposals, developing work plans and risk controls, and reporting progress and financial status to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in power generation, energy, utility or nuclear industries as an Engineer or Project Manager.
• Skilled in cost / workhour estimating and proposal development and review.
• Capable of reporting on and managing scope, schedule, and cost for multiple projects executing simultaneously.
• Knowledge in earned value management, rules of credit, and progress reporting.
• Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review.
• Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
• Strong coordination and team building skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
• Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts with technical staff to develop detailed and winning engineering proposals and manage schedules and client deliverables.
• Develop Nuclear Services Project Work Plans, Risk Management Plans, Communication Plans, WBS, and Dictionaries; manage schedules and reporting.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships; manage scope and negotiate to satisfaction; support marketing and opportunities.
• Report on project financials and status to management.
