Job summary

Entergy invites applications for a Summer 2027 Engineering Intern located in St. Francisville, LA at Riverbend Station. The intern will assist Nuclear Operations - Engineering and work as a full-time student in a work-study program to gain practical experience in their field.

Responsibilities include design-change work, engineering calculations, fuel cycle evaluations, and equipment performance analysis under supervision. Minimum GPA 2.8 and active pursuit of an engineering degree are required.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of an undergraduate or master's degree in engineering from a 4-year institution.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Knowledge of databases and standard Windows/Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Nuclear Operations - Engineering tasks.
• Develop design change package elements under supervision.
• Perform engineering calculations per standards and procedures.
• Evaluate fuel cycle design and plant equipment responses to transients.
• Prepare engineering specifications for purchases and maintenance.
• Monitor plant system performance and support operations.
