Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing an undergrad or master's degree in an engineering program from a 4-year accredited university/college.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).

Responsibilities

• Develop elements of design change packages with supervisory oversight.
• Perform engineering calculations within established standards and procedures.
• Perform evaluations of fuel cycle design.
• Investigate corrective actions for operating problems.
• Perform calculations on plant capability and efficiency improvement.
• Evaluate plant equipment responses to transients.
• Determine appropriate materials for specific applications.
• Establish standard designs, drawings, reference files and/or cost data.
• Conduct transient and dynamic stability studies.
• Prepare engineering specifications for purchases.
• Monitor plant system performance and provide support for operations and maintenance activities.
