Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Summer 2027 Engineering Intern located in St. Francisville, LA at Riverbend Station.

The intern will assist Nuclear Operations - Engineering as a temporarily employed student gaining practical work experience in a nuclear environment. Responsibilities include developing design change packages, performing engineering calculations, evaluating fuel cycle design, and supporting plant operations and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing an undergrad or master's degree in engineering from a 4-year accredited university.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).

Responsibilities

• Develop elements of design change packages with supervisory oversight
• Perform engineering calculations within established standards and procedures
• Evaluate plant equipment responses to transients
• Monitor plant system performance and provide support for operations and maintenance activities
