Dominion Energy’s North Anna Power Station in Mineral, VA, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering intern for the summer of 2027. The role sits in the Component Engineering group and involves evaluating equipment performance, creating technical documents, and assisting with design changes to enhance station reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in ABET-accredited Engineering program (Mechanical preferred).
• Anticipated graduation in December 2028 or later.
• GPA of 3.0 or above required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate equipment performance trends including field walkdowns.
• Develop technical documents to evaluate equipment failures and plant conditions.
• Develop minor design changes to support station reliability improvements.
• Support major design changes to improve long-term station reliability.
• Provide technical input on equipment-related concerns to various station departments.
