Dominion Energy seeks an Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Staff Engineer for the Electrical Systems Department at Surry Power Station in Surry, VA. The role focuses on electrical systems engineering in support of nuclear plant operations, including monitoring health, developing plans, and preparing evaluations and reports.
The candidate will support operations and outages, investigate failures, and provide technical troubleshooting.
Formación
- For Engineer: 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Senior Engineer: 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Staff Engineer: 8+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Knowledge of engineering theories, concepts, fundamentals
- Ability to perform engineering calculations using software (MATLAB, Excel)
- Familiarity with nuclear plant design and Electrical Distribution System
Responsabilidades
- Monitor and trend electrical system health for nuclear plant operations
- Develop monitoring plans for assigned systems and prepare evaluations
- Provide engineering support for operations and outages
- Investigate equipment failures and propose corrective actions
- Support troubleshooting of plant systems and prepare technical reports
