You will perform power system studies, develop equipment specifications, and review designs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
5+ years in electrical system design for industrial or nuclear power plant projects.
Proficient in selecting equipment and materials; experienced in design packages, calculations, and specifications.
Skilled in designing low and medium voltage distribution systems (e.g., transformers, generators, motors, relays).
Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
PE license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

Power System Studies: Conduct and review detailed AC/DC calculations using ETAP.
Develop and review equipment specifications.
Participate in bid evaluations and manage vendor Q&A tracking.
Design Development: Prepare scoping documents and perform constructability reviews.
Design and review lighting, communications, and security systems.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Engage with clients and implementation personnel.
Travel: Visit client/vendor offices and plant sites for design reviews and construction coordination.
