Job summary

EGS, Inc. is seeking EI&C Engineers to support Nuclear and DOE projects in Knoxville, TN, Lenexa, KS and Houston, TX. These are long-term contract roles with top rates and benefits, requiring US citizenship.

The role involves performing ETAP-based calculations, developing specifications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on design reviews. Travel to client sites is expected as part of project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Commercial nuclear experience at US NPP or DOE nuclear site.
• PE License is required.
• ETAP experience: load flow, short circuit, motor starting, protection/coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed AC/DC calculations using ETAP (short circuit, voltage drop, arc-flash, motor starting, etc).
• Develop and review equipment specifications.
• Participate in bid evaluations and vendor Q&A tracking.
• Prepare scoping documents and constructability reviews.
• Design and review lighting, communications, and security systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients.
