Job summary

Allied Staff Augmentation Partners in the United States seeks an experienced Digital I&C Engineer to support a nuclear modernization program onsite at a nuclear power plant. This contract role focuses on the design, modification, and implementation of digital control systems.

You will replace legacy analog with modern DCS platforms, support safety-related and non-safety-related upgrades, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and vendors to ensure compliant, on-schedule project execution

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
10+ years I&C design engineering experience.
5+ years DCS hardware/software modifications experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear facility.

Responsibilities

Perform digital modification engineering for nuclear plant control system upgrades.
Support full lifecycle activities including design, procurement, implementation, testing, and commissioning.
Develop and review engineering deliverables such as design and procurement specifications.
Review and validate OEM/vendor design documents, test plans, and implementation packages.
Provide technical support during outages, including system installation and post-modification testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and vendors.
