Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Systems Project Planning and Controls Specialist (LTE) for the Nuclear Deterrence program, providing full lifecycle planning and controls support. Onsite work is required at CA/NM sites with occasional collaboration across Sandia locations.

The role emphasizes cost and schedule integration, risk assessment, and effective stakeholder reporting. Applicants must have a Bachelor's in a relevant field and be able to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline as listed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain accurate cost and schedule plans.
• Monitor project performance and analyze data to anticipate issues and recommend actions.
• Evaluate trends and data to identify risks and inform program strategy.
• Collaborate with PP&CS, engineers, and cross-site partners on schedule forecasts and handoffs.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes with rigorous change control.
