Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, and Livermore, CA, seeks a Systems Project Planning & Controls Specialist (PP&CS) on a Limited Term Employee basis to support a Nuclear Deterrence program.

You will develop, execute, and maintain cost and schedule plans, monitor performance, and prepare stakeholder reports. The role requires 60% onsite work at CA or NM and offers flexible schedules and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain accurate and integrated cost and schedule plans (cost & schedule).
• Monitor project performance, analyze cost and schedule data to anticipate issues and recommend actions.
• Evaluate project trends and data to identify risks and inform strategy.
• Collaborate with PP&CS, engineers, and partners to align forecasts and milestones.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget changes; document and apply change control.
• Prepare and present clear, actionable project status reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with standards and best practices in scheduling and cost management.
