Job summary

Framatome North America in Lynchburg, VA seeks an experienced engineer to provide design, development, analysis, testing, and field task execution within nuclear energy projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, at least 6 years of related experience, and strong knowledge of AutoCAD (and AutoCAD Electrical), industrial controls, and wiring diagrams. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards and criteria.
• Excellent communication skills to convey detailed technical data.
• Experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Knowledge of industrial controls, cabinet layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Advanced problem identification and resolution skills.
• PLC and VFD experience.
• Hands-on wiring and assembly experience.
• Advanced technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice in design, development, analysis, testing, and field tasks.
• Plan and conduct moderate technical or engineering assignments.
