Job summary

METRIX IT SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a Technical Writer specializing in Nuclear/Defence document writing and document management. You will attend pre-job briefs, review technical texts, and collaborate with content owners to ensure accurate formatting and timely deliverables.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining procedural documents, editing for consistency, and supporting document conversions across formats. You will provide weekly analytics on document volumes and performance.

Qualifications

• Must-have: export control scope experience related to Nuclear/Defence Technical Document writing & Document conversion.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-job brief or other supporting meetings in advance of technical writing.
• Perform technical writing review of text-based documents as per applicable discipline process.
• Collaborate with document owners and content creators on content, formatting and editing requirements, and recommendations to ensure a consistent, professional and timely deliverable.
• Execute related activities and tasks within supporting systems, tools and information exchanges.
• Create, review and maintain procedural-based documents as per process.
• Perform related activities and tasks as per procedure.
• Request identification, initiate reviews, comments and disposition, approval, issuance, coms.
• Support document owners and content creators with conversion from one format to another, including different format types or different revisions of the same format.
• Create or review product, project and business unassociated supporting documents per process
• Maintain index, source file, access control, revisions, supersedure and obsolescence
• Perform Periodic Adequacy Reviews on unassociated supporting documents, procedure and guide
• Create and/or review COMs as per process
• Maintain index, source content, access controls, revisions, supersedure and obsolescence
• Perform Periodic Adequacy Reviews of COMs for revisions, supersedure and obsolescence
