Job summary

Volto Consulting is seeking a technical writer with export control scope experience related to Nuclear/Defense Technical Documents. You will participate in pre-job briefs and review text-based documents, ensuring content accuracy and adherence to discipline processes.

You will collaborate with owners and content creators on formatting and editing requirements, and you will execute related activities within supporting systems to deliver professional, timely documents.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical writing for nuclear/defense documents.
• Familiarity with export control scope in technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-job brief or other supporting meetings in advance of technical writing being performed
• Perform technical writing review of text-based documents as per applicable discipline process
• Collaborate with document owners and content creators on content, formatting and editing requirements, and recommendations to ensure a consistent, professional and timely deliverable
• Execute related activities and tasks within supporting systems, tools and information exchanges
• Create, review and maintain procedural-based documents as per process
• Perform related activities and tasks as per procedure
• Request identification, initiate reviews, comments and disposition, approval, issuance, coms
