Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a Senior Technical Writer to support the NC3 CVR Increment 2 PMO at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role focuses on producing technical papers, manuals, and training materials for the DoD program.

You will translate complex technical data into accessible content, ensure agency standards, manage document control, and collaborate with engineers and program managers across locations. On-site at Hanscom AFB, occasional travel expected.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance is required.
• BA/BS degree is required.
• 7–10 years of relevant DoD/DoW/Air Force experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare original technical papers, manuals, policies, specs, and reports.
• Write and edit user documentation, how-to guides, procedures, and training materials.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation for specific audiences.
