Global Laser Enrichment LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer for our Wilmington, NC location. This role is crucial in developing and implementing control systems for our pioneering uranium enrichment technology.

Qualifications

• Active DOE Q-Clearance or equivalent (DoD Top Secret), or ability to obtain one.
• Experience programming PLC-based control systems.
• Familiarity with control valves, pressure systems, and field instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement current and future control solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to select control systems.
• Lead commissioning and testing of control systems.

Skills

Programming PLC-based control systems

Familiarity with control valves, pressure systems, and field instrumentation

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs

Experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms

Working knowledge of industrial communication networks

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
