Job summary

Global Laser Enrichment LLC in Wilmington, NC seeks a Laboratory Integration Engineer to support experiments for uranium enrichment tech development. Will operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment including RGA, mass spectrometers, and vacuum systems.

Role requires hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and data acquisition, and the ability to work with scientists and engineers to develop test setups and interpret results. Q-clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
• Hands-on experience operating laboratory equipment.
• Experience with instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition.
• Ability to document activities accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain NRC Q-clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate analytical equipment per procedures (RGA, MS, gas analysis).
• Set up, calibrate, maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Collaborate with scientists to develop test setups.
• Execute experiments and document conditions and results.
• Collect and review experimental data.
• Assemble and modify prototype lab equipment.
• Configure vacuum and gas-handling components.
• Troubleshoot equipment behavior with the team.
• Support commissioning and checkout of new lab equipment.
• Maintain calibration records and configurations.
• Maintain a safe, organized lab environment.
