Kiewit Supply Network in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Contract Specialist to support the Nuclear market. You will manage the full life cycle of supplier contracts, from RFPs through closeout, and serve as the main point of contact for vendors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field with 2+ years’ experience in contracts & supply chain functions.
• Experience with the RFP process, contract development/negotiation, & procurement execution.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, estimators, buyers, logistics and expediting in procurement.
• Minimum of 2 years negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts; federal construction experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and databases for contracts.
• Strong communication, teamwork and initiative to deliver quality work.
• Safety-conscious and able to work across locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and negotiate terms and conditions of supplier contracts.
• Manage supplier contracts and supplier relationships to meet standards and client requirements.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, availability and reliability.
• Ensure materials meet specifications and manage lifecycle of procurement items for projects.
• Prepare and issue RFPs and evaluate proposals to meet budget and schedule.
• Assist in developing procurement templates and leverage vendors for cost savings.
• Coordinate with logistics to monitor shipments and resolve issues.
• Negotiate high-risk contracts and support procurement staff meetings.
• Provide legal communications to project teams as needed.
